I understand this car will probably not be beat on but for the money you put in for such a head set up by mazworks anyone looking to rebuild the engine and has money get a VVL head you won’t look back!

I would love to see a twin charged 2JZ setup with a Dart block/wet billet, TVS 1900 blower and something like a 8685 next gen compound setup. Lag-less low end with legendary top end. Modest street cams like some GSC S1 cams, Turbosmart E-gate, Nexus R5, TB in intake for boost by speed, water to air intercooler with interchiller, water injection, vvt-i to get an 2024 ultimate response setup. SP did an ultimate sequential Supra back in 2010, it would be nice to see where we are at now in terms of what can be done with today's tech. OR SKIP all that $#!* and make a rocket anti-lag kit for a PTE 9814 XPR NextGen Turbo and go hunting TT Vipers and TT Hurrican's with it. Maybe a world record or two.

Mate - szenario - I got ma 2.5l 10.5:1 on petrol engine and soon work it up and fuel it with CNG, highering the compression to 13,5, whereas thru the lower volumetric efficiency of the CNG iam ending up with 5% less power but a way better environmental and economic outcome... However, I want to set up a H2 engine using the same MPI and a 1.5 bar supercharger, getting it up to 20:1 compression you need for efficient H2 burn... however, thru the 50 percent lower volumetric efficiently, I still end up with 10% less power than the original 170 hp... what do you thing? I would put high temp high compression valves for sure, but would you also do something with the block? We get not more power, but compression more

so does this mean that the supposed "jz pump gear failure" in recent years is just due to no pre lubing and checking of relief valve?. if so that defeats the whole new fad of the prp pump gears for "2jz oil pump failure" that never used to exist

How would you clean the surfaces of where the cam bearings press in?

Did not know about the 3 shoulder bolt on the scha … I just assembled mine and did not look further .. I put the 3 oem bolt and when I close the case it seems not alligned perfectly and it jam.. When I remove the case the shift pin always comes off!!! God damn good too know .

My son has a 2001 Prelude Base with the h22 in it. What would be some good volt on for this motor. Is isnt prepared for the turbo yet. He wants to completely tear it down and replace everything with performance parts. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I enjoyed watching this video , it was really informative.
